Syden is proud to announce the successful completion of the architecture and engineering redesign, along with construction follow-up, for 38 skywalks at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Saudi Arabia. Serving as Lead Design Consultant under our contract with SA Baytur Construction Co., this project represents one of the largest skywalk networks in the world.
The scope of work included enhancing design functionality, ensuring structural excellence, and overseeing construction progress to align with the project’s ambitious vision. These interconnected skywalks form a vital part of KAFD’s pedestrian infrastructure, enabling seamless movement across the district while elevating its urban experience.
