SYDEN proudly served as the Lead Design Consultant for the Marriott Courtyard Kuday Hotel, a landmark hospitality development in Makkah, KSA.
Completed in 2022, the project delivered 438 guest rooms across 24 floors, including several flexible four-bed guestrooms designed to accommodate the unique needs of visitors to Makkah. The hotel also features three food and beverage outlets, each offering generous seating capacity to enhance the guest experience.
With a built-up area of 31,500 m², the design prioritized cost efficiency, ensuring optimal space utilization and an affordable cost per room while maintaining Marriott’s international hospitality standards.
SYDEN’s scope covered the full spectrum of architecture and engineering design, ensuring functional, efficient, and culturally aligned outcomes. The interiors were designed in collaboration with Dana Najjar Design, Dubai, bringing a refined and contemporary character to the hotel’s guest spaces and amenities.
Strategically located in Ajyad, just 1,800 meters from Al Masjid Al Haram, the hotel offers convenient access to the holy site, reinforcing its significance as a hospitality destination in the heart of Makkah.
